Facedown - nova banda da linha de Sintra
Os FACEDOWN são a mais nova banda do panorama hardcoriano português e vêm da linha de Sintra.
Fica aqui a sua bio:
"Our band started in december 2008, Kp, Eman, Johnnie and Nsane had a project but they needed another guitarist and a bass player, so they called Quar and Pacman to fill the spots and bring some fresh attitude to the project. First rehearsel was kinda messy, because we were all with a huge hangover after a bairro alto night, so it was just to have some fun making noise. Haha! Anyway we are now celebrating 2 months since we got together. We share some common interestes among them are music, subcultures, good beer and hardcore. Facedown is a friends band. Our purpose is not to be famous or whatever, just to have fun, experience new things, meet new people, spread our message and give some hell gigs. "

Neste album temos 2 convidados especiais, o Poli (Devil in Me, Rat Attack, Sam Alone) e o Mike Ghost (Men Eater, Rat Attack, Riding Pânico)...
Segue-se agora a masterização do album, possívelmente fora do nosso país.
Este álbum foi gravado no BlackSheepStudios, pelo produtor Makoto Yagyu(If Lucy Fell)...
O lançamento está previsto para Março/Abril...

Ieper Fest 09
It’s been a while since we last spoke, almost five months to be more precise! We’d like to start by saying thanks to every single person that made Ieperfest 2008 the way it was! Despite the weather, and the somewhat muddy conditions, we think it’s safe to say that everybody had a great time at the festival! Thanks to all the bands, spectators and, last but most definitely not least, crew members!
As some of you might already know, we decided to cancel this year’s edition of Ieper Winterfest that was supposed to be happening on Saturday February 21st. Main reason for this decision was the fact that we were unable to find bands capable of headlining the festival. Luck wasn’t on our side, as it seemed that all good tours ended just before, or started just after February 21st. That, or they were nowhere near Ieper that day! We sincerely apologize to all people that were planning on coming to the Winterfest, and hope to offer you a new edition next year!
On the bright side: cancelling the Winterfest suddenly meant we could focus entirely on the 17th edition of Ieperfest next summer! The dates are locked, so take your calendars, diaries or notebooks and mark 28,29 and 30 August 2009 as “Ieperfest weekend”! As we speak, the first preparations are being made: material is being ordered, bands are being booked… Expect the first names somewhere at the end of February or the beginning of March! Location for the festival is the same as last year: crossroads of the Poperingseweg and the Hazewindestraat, but I suppose you all know the way by now!

Team Ieperfest!Resumindo para aqueles que não se dão tão bem com o inglês, o Ieper Fest de 2009 já tem data marcada: 28 a 30 de Agosto de 2009! Uma vez que não vai haver a edição de inverno a equipa responsável pelo festival já está a dedicar-se a tempo inteiro a este! Podem-se esperar nomes de bandas para finais de Fevereiro, início de Março!
